An important update to our research project

22 September 2020

Despite all, the research did not stop. And never will.

Our Scientific Committee devoted some of the recent months’ work to the review and study of the literature on currently available animal models of the pathology, in order to identify disease markers essential to assess the effectiveness of our therapy. With pleasure, pride and satisfaction we inform you that this review work has been published on the prestigious international journal Molecular Neurobiology.

(De Gioia R, Citterio G, Abati E, Nizzardo M, Bresolin N, Comi GP, Corti S, Rizzo F. Animal Models of CMT2A: State-of-art and Therapeutic Implications. Mol Neurobiol. 2020 Aug 27. doi: 10.1007/s12035-020-02081-3. PMID: 32856204 Review).

These are small but meaningful steps, which increase the knowledge of CMT2A and stimulate the scientific world’s interest in this disease that is very important to get a therapy as soon as possible.

Many thanks to all our doctors and congratulations for the work they are doing, even in times as difficult as these.
