An interesting result achieved by our researchers during a trial test done on mice with amiotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) represents a hopeful promise for the Research Project supported by us.

The study, published on the eminent scientific journal Human Molecular Genetics, represents a starting point for a new development of ALS therapies, but may also have potential involvements for other neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases, like for instance CMT type 2A (HMSN).
